Here is a proud tapir mum with her humbug baby. They'd sit happily on a shelf and make you smile as you walk by. They are made from speckled black stoneware clay and decorated in white slip and underglaze. They are high-fired to 1220℃ and have cold painted areas post-firing. No overglaze has been used giving a slightly satin finish.
